Brake shims
Brake Shim products are widely used in disc brake system of automobile and vehicles, and partly used in motorcycle. They mainly play the role of noise reduction and shock absorption in the brake process, we also call them Noise and Vibration Damping Products. They are important component for the braking system and the brake shim usually connected with steel back through buckle or glue.
In braking process of vehicles, friction and vibration will occur between the friction plate and the brake disc, which will produce noise. The sound wave come from the friction plate to the steel back, the strength will change once, and when come from the steel back to the brake shim, the sound wave will change again, which will be blocked layer by layer to avoid resonance, so as to reduce the noise.
Teamful Sealing brake shim material made from base metal core, premier adhesive, and NBR rubber coating. It provides excellent vibration damping performance and superior durability after fully cured.
